Veteran Wreath

Honor, remember & give thanks to past & present veterans with our DIY Veteran's Day wreath craft idea.

Create It Yourself

Supplies Needed

Gather all the supplies needed to bring your craft ideas to life! From paints and markers to glue and scissors, our crafts section has everything to spark creativity and make every project truly special.

Steps

  • Step 1

    Flatten and cover 2 cupcake liners with red paint. Dry 1–2 hours. Flip and cover with red paint. Dry 1–2 hours.

  • Step 2

    Fold both cupcake liners in half and cut small triangles along the rounded edges. Unfold to reveal flower shapes.

  • Step 3

    Use marker to draw middle of flower on 1 cupcake liner. Glue on top of remaining cupcake liner. Dry 1–2 hours.

  • Step 4

    Pinch bottom of flower and lightly fold edges inward.

  • Step 5

    Repeat steps 1–4 to create 5 additional flowers.

  • Step 6

    Cut out middle section of paper plate to create wreath base.

  • Step 7

    Cut piece of construction paper 1”H and use width of paper plate as guide for length. Glue to front of paper plate, then flip upside down.

  • Step 8

    Print free coloring page and color with markers. Cut out.

  • Step 9

    Glue coloring page to construction paper.

  • Step 10

    Glue flowers to plate. Let all glue steps dry 1–2 hours.

  • Step 11

    Hang in honor of those who have served!
