  • Construction Paper
  • Crayons
  • Glue
  • Paper Plate(s)

Steps

  • Step 1

    Use different colors to make any kind of Big Cat. Here’s how to make a lion. Decorate a large paper plate with Crayola® Multicultural and regular crayons. Overlap golds, yellows, and browns to create a realistic lion’s coat.

  • Step 2

    Decorate a small paper plate to look like a lion’s head. Show a snout, mouth, and eyes.

  • Step 3

    Tear paper into triangles for ears. Color the inside of each ear a darker color. Attach the ears to the smaller plate with Crayola School Glue. Glue the head to the body.

  • Step 4

    Tear legs and a tail from construction paper. Decorate and glue them to the cat. Glue on precut yarn for a furry lion’s mane. Air-dry the glue.
