Globbles on Carpet and Upholstery

PROCEDURE: Use a carpet/upholstery cleaner per the manufacturer’s direction. Special Precautions/Notes: If two Globbles touch each other in a storage container, the color from one may transfer to the other. Nothing can be done to remediate the color transfer.

  • Cleaning Materials
    Oxiclean Cleaner
    Paper Towels

    Spray the surface with Oxi-Clean and allow to rest for 2 minutes. Gently rub and wipe the surface with paper towels. For carpet and upholstery, blot the area with paper towels. Repeat as needed.
    May leave a permanent stain.

    Vacuum Upholstery/Rug Shampoo

    Vacuum as much of the dry colored chalk stain from the carpet or fabric as possible. If stain remains, apply upholstery/rug shampoo according to the directions on the container.

    Oxiclean Cleaner
    Paper Towels

    Spray the surface with Oxi-Clean and allow to rest for 2 minutes. Gently rub and wipe the surface with paper towels. For carpet and upholstery, blot the area with paper towels. Repeat as needed.

    Amodex Ink Stain Remover Optional
    Dull Knife or Metal Spoon
    Carpet Cleaner Spot Shot or Oxiclean Based Cleaning Product Preferred

    Scrape off as much crayon as possible.  Use carpet cleaner per the manufacturer's direction.  Repeat as needed.

    ALTERNATE SUGGESTION:  Amodex Ink & Stain remover should be used per the manufacturer's directions.  For stain removal help or where to purchase Amodex call 1-877-866-1255.

    Capture Spot and Stain Remover
    Rubbing Alcohol
    Sponge
    Upholstery/Rug Shampoo

    Dampen a sponge with water and wipe stains from the outside to the center of the stain. If the stain remains, dampen a sponge with alcohol and use a blotting motion to absorb the stain, changing the sponge as often as needed. Apply upholstery/rug shampoo according to the directions on the container. If stain remains, use Capture spot and soil remover according to the directions on the container.
