Stain Tips

  • Cleaning Materials
    Rubbing Alcohol
    Dull Knife or Metal Spoon
    Liquid Dish Soap Dawn Preferred
    Sponge
    Cotton Balls

    Allow No-Bake Sculpting Clay to dry overnight.  Scrape off excess clay with a dull-edge knife or metal spoon.  Add liquid dish detergent to water.  Wash the stain away with the soapy water and sponge and rinse.  If any stain remains, saturate a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol, blot the stain and rinse.

    FOR STAINLESS STEEL APPLIANCES - Use any stainless steel cleaning product per the manufacturer's direction.  Repeat as needed.

    In a small container or bucket, add dish detergent to warm water.  Apply the soapy mixture to the stain with a nylon brush (for rough surfaces).  If stain remains, spray all purpose cleaner to stain and brush.

If stain persists, use Resolve carpet cleaner according to the directions on the container.

    Prewash Laundry Stain Remover
    Laundry Detergent
    Remove as much excess No-Bake Sculpting Clay as possible from fabric. Wash in hot water with laundry detergent and rinse in cold water. Check fabric prior to drying. If stain persists, rewash then dry. If stain has been left for extended period of time, use following pretreatment suggestion: Remove as much clay from fabric as possible. Use pre-wash laundry stain remover according to directions on container. Work pre-wash into stained fabric. Wash in hot water with laundry detergent and rinse in cold water. If stain persists, do not dry. Repeat pretreatment and wash cycle, then dry.
